As a young girl, intrigued by her mother's treadle sewing machine, Sera developed a passion for the art of sewing. She furthered her education in the field and worked with other professional seamstresses to perfect her craft. As a stay at home mom, she sewed her daughters' dance costumes, party dresses and evening gowns, with word of mouth eventually drawing a clientele of people who appreciate her outstanding skill and attention to detail.

With over 30 years of experience Sera is an exceptional seamstress who takes pride in her work and is ready to meet the challenge of virtually any sewing project. Though she modestly says "Yes, I sew and do alterations" her conviction that it's important to be the best you can be has ensured that she provides superb service for young dancers, graduates, brides and essentially anyone who wants their clothing to fit and flatter perfectly. In fact, she's even gained the respect of the Scottish community as an authentic kilt maker.

Sera enjoys living and raising her family in Kelowna, and she takes pleasure in using her talents to provide quality sewing and alteration services at very reasonable rates.
